Starting in 1999, and at the proposal of the National Commission for Safety and Health at Work, by Order of March 30, 1999, the Ministry of Employment and Social Security of our country established, as Safety and Health at Work Day, April 28 of each year. Since 2003 the ILO, a tripartite International Organization, accepted the initiative of the trade union organizations and turned it into an annual day worldwide, promoted to draw attention to accidents and diseases caused by work, for their reduction and elimination in the world. Around this date, hundreds of national and international organizations make statements, promote various types of events, propose and develop activities that lead to the reflection of all citizens, institutions and organizations most related to the problem. Information and the maximum extension of the commemoration must play a crucial role in all activities, since the priority intention is to reach the maximum number of people and institutions, to encourage concern and action regarding this problem and to promote measures that lead to its solution. The choice of slogans has the purpose of synthesizing the objective into a message that allows maximum communicative effectiveness in the desired result. In 2014, at Fraternidad-Muprespa we echo both calls, but given the volume of associated companies and the diversity of all of them, we also want to focus on a new message: “ PREVENTION YOUR BEST ASSET”. With this motto, we collaborate with the dissemination of the message proposed by the prevention department of A.T. and E.P. of Fraternidad-Muprespa, where it is a necessity for us to emphasize prevention as the best strategy to follow for the viability of the company. To do this, we convey through the poster created in 2014 the concept of having the best possible play in your hand, poker of aces. Where each AS is represented by each preventive discipline: Hygiene, Medicine, Ergonomics and Safety. A winning trick against work accidents and occupational diseases.
