# CONFERENCE IN MÁLAGA ON KNEE PATHOLOGY: COMMON VERSUS WORK

Fraternidad-Muprespa, a mutual collaborator with Social Security, held a medical day on February 24 at the Malaga Provincial Directorate of Fraternidad-Muprespa.

Doctors and inspectors from the National Institute of Social Security and the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of the Junta de Andalucía attended.

Ms. Sonia Medrano Pascual, Southern Territorial Director of Dr.Adolfo Mares Santos, Medical Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Seville, who gave an interesting presentation on “ “Knee pathology: common versus occupational” .

He Dr. Mares He made a brilliant presentation and highlighted the importance of:

1. Analyze the mechanism of production of the different and possible injuries of menisci and ligaments in the knee.
2. Establish the injured areas and type of injury that is expected in a knee, depending on the injury mechanism reported by the patient.
3. Learn to differentiate, based on the anamnesis, clinical findings and results of complementary tests, injuries of traumatic origin from injuries of degenerative origin.
 
The day was attended by Mr. Santiago Cabuchola Moreno, Chief Medical Officer of the UMEVI–INSS and Mr. Antonio del Corral García, Provincial Coordinator of the UMVI of Malaga of the Delegation of Equality, Health and Social Policies of the Government of Andalusia.
