Florencio Ingelmo, Provincial Director of the INSS in the Balearic Islands, presented the conference and stressed the importance of the work carried out by all the institutions involved in the management of IT (Medical Inspection, INSS and Mutual Insurance), as well as the relevance of training and the holding of conferences such as the one organized by Fraternidad-Muprespa. He also highlighted the importance of collaboration and communication between all those involved in management, highlighting the success of the program of access by INSS doctors to the clinical history of Fraternidad-Muprespa patients, which was recently implemented in the Balearic Islands. Ingelmo also mentioned the second prize in the Awards for Quality and Innovation in Public Management, in the category of Innovation in Management, awarded by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function to the Provincial Directorate of the INSS in Malaga for its practice “Telematic access to the electronic medical records of the mutual societies collaborating with Social Security by the medical inspectors of the INSS of Malaga” which was led by Fraternidad-Muprespa. He concluded his intervention by providing data on the relevance of pathologies related to the joints of the lower limb. The doctor then spoke.Francisco Javier Sainz, Head of the Traumatological Evaluation Area at Fraternidad-Muprespa, who described important aspects about the anatomy and examination of both joints, highlighting the main pathologies and the most common treatments practiced today. For his part, the doctor Jose Ignacio Mora, director of the Care Coordination and IT Control Center of Fraternidad-Muprespa, explained the IT management carried out by the Mutual Fund, relating it to the degrees of functionality of the INSS Guides and giving a series of guidelines regarding average durations. After each of the exhibitions, two workshops began, directed by Dr. Sainz and with the collaboration of Dr.Eugenio Diaz(Deputy Territorial Care Coordinator of the Northeast Territorial Directorate) in examination of both the ankle and the knee, with the participation of those present and the presentation of doubts that arise at the time of having the patient in consultation. After the workshops,Marian Sbert, Provincial Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in the Balearic Islands closed the day, thanking the speakers for their intervention and their involvement in the development of the day.
