# Conference in Valencia on occupational road safety with immersive virtual reality equipment

Last Friday, the provincial management of Fraternidad–Muprespa Valencia organized a road safety workshop with immersive virtual reality in collaboration with the Transvia Group. The Provincial Director of the Mutua in Valencia began the session,Jordi de Vicente, which gave a brief introduction to the impact of traffic accidents on the world of work.

Subsequently David Balmaseda, Industrial Engineer and Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention, was in charge of conveying to the audience a practical vision of the importance of avoiding traffic accidents and the tools to fight against occupational road accidents, focusing on awareness and sensitization as tools to combat it.

To carry out the event, one of the immersive virtual reality equipment available from Fraternidad-Muprespa was used, which allows attendees to simulate, in a safe and entertaining way, driving in adverse situations, such as, for example, due to weather conditions or due to glare. The session had the collaboration of the attending workers. Jordi de Vicente closed the day, thanking all the attendees for the trust placed in the Mutua.
