# Fraternidad-Muprespa AMONG THE 69 COMPANIES AND ENTITIES OF GIJÓN COMMITTED TO EQUALITY

On August 11, within the framework of the Gijón International Trade Fair, the VI edition of the directory of companies committed to equality. This event brought together more than 200 people, many of them representing the companies in the 2016 Directory.  
   
The event, which has been promoted by the Gijón City Council Equality Office, has had as its protagonist the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad Muprespa, invited to present her experience and good practices in the field of equality, as an Entity recognized by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, with the Brand in Equality at the national level.  
   
First of all, he took the floor   the Mayor of Gijón Ms. Carmen Moriyon, who stood out during his speech “ the benefits obtained by companies that are committed to social responsibility, such as improved image and reputation, customer loyalty, optimization of talent and reduction of absenteeism among other benefits, which leads to better productivity and sustainability”.   
   
After,Ms. Natalia Fernández Laviada, Deputy General Director of Prevention, Quality and Communication of Fraternidad-Muprespa, gave a presentation in which she reflected on the social reality of women and the type of leadership they exercise. Below he has detailed the II Equality Plan implemented in   
   
Subsequently, the Mayor and the social agents FADE, CC.OO., and UGT, have delivered the badges to the 69 companies that are part of the 2016 Directory.  
   
On behalf of the Mutual,Ms. Ana Fernandez Castro, director of the Gijón Delegation, has collected the badge and Ms. Natalia Fernández Laviada, a plaque commemorating the event, along with gratitude for her participation and in recognition of the work that   
   
It is worth highlighting the involvement of the 69 companies of the 2016 Directory committed to Equality, and which must be an example for other entities to join this initiative.
