# Fraternidad-Muprespa and ICASEL bring the world of nanotechnologies closer to ORP in Tenerife and Las Palmas

In accordance with the dissemination commitment thatFraternidad-MuprespaMutual Collaborator with Social Security No. 275 has acquired with the prevention of occupational risks, on this occasion, and within the framework of the ICASEL Action Plan, the interesting and unknown Nano world has been chosen to teach two technical sessions in which the basic keys to knowing how to face the preventive challenge of Nanotechnologies are revealed.

On September 27, the first day was held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the second the following day in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

On both days theGeneral Director of Labor of the Government of the Canary Islands José Miguel GonzálezHe opened the event by making a brief presentation and explained the objectives of the conference.

Elirerto Galván, director of ICASEL and the provincial directors of Fraternidad-Muprespa in TenerifeAlvaro Morales yCarlos Machoin Las Palmas They thanked all attendees for their presence at their respective sessions.

Miguel Angel Figueroa, SST coordinator at ICASEL, closed the Tenerife conference y  Bernardo DiazICASEL Training Coordinator in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Both have indicated the collaborative work between Fraternidad-Muprespa with ICASEL in the organization of training sessions.

Carmen Alvarado, technical coordinator of the General Subdirectorate of Prevention, Quality and Communication of Fraternidad-Muprespa, has been in charge of developing the common theme of both days "The Nano world from ORP", exposing the basic keys to knowing how to face the preventive challenge of nanotechnologies, disseminating the technical aids that we have to address ORP related to nanomaterials and finally, in the case of the presence of these materials, knowing practical and simple recommendations that can be applied in workplaces and ensuring safety and health at work.

The conferences have had a great reception and participation of the public attending them.
