With the aim of jointly developing projects aimed at preventing traffic accidents at work, this Tuesday morning the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security, Fraternidad-Muprespa and the Royal Automobile Club of Spain (RACE) have signed a collaboration agreement. The managing director of Fraternidad-Muprespa,Carlos Aranda, and the director of Road Safety of RACE,Thomas Saint Cecilia, have been in charge of stamping their signature on the document.

The preventive measures planned include awareness days, development and dissemination of campaigns for the use of seat belts and the prevention of accidents caused by distractions, mobile phone use, sleep or fatigue. The promotion of courses for workers will also be carried out.

Carlos Aranda has highlighted the importance of this agreement given that "the Mutual Fund is making a great effort in the field of preventing work-related traffic accidents, with actions such as carrying out some 40 road safety workshops with immersive virtual reality throughout 2018, or like the day held on June 7 in Madrid with the motto “From 0 to 100 in Road Safety: Technology & Awareness versus Accidents” for the dissemination of best practices in this matter.”

For his part, Tomás Santa Cecilia highlights the need to "join efforts to fight against work-related traffic accidents through training and information. From RACE we thank security improvement".
