# Fraternidad-Muprespa brings its immersive virtual reality equipment to the Barcelona taxi collective

The immersive virtual reality equipment, designed with the latest technological advances, provides the participant with an environment similar to that of real driving, for example driving under dangerous weather situations (heavy rain, fog, snow...) or with asphalt in poor condition and driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.   
   
Also with this equipment we can know how a person who has exceeded the alcohol limit perceives reality. These simulations are combined with awareness videos about the dangers of continuous work in the car: stress, fatigue, exhaustion... factors that influence the worker's conditions.   
   
The health problems that most affect taxi workers are sedentary lifestyle, musculoskeletal pain, mainly due to prolonged poor posture, and stress. Given this, it recommends that 15-minute breaks be taken every two hours or every 200 kilometers. He also detailed two other important practical tips for workers in this group: always use the seat belt, both workers and clients, and maintain a healthy diet as a fundamental element to maintain good physical and mental condition.
