The Madrid Hospital Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana has obtained the international accessibility certification AIS(Accessibility Indicator System). It is the only international standard that certifies the degree of accessibility, and its achievement, in its highest category, of five stars, makes it clear that the Mutua integrates excellence in accessibility in its current properties and in those it plans.  
  
It is granted by Foundation for Accessibility and Social Responsibility, international, private and non-profit organization. The Accessibility Indicator System, AIS, is constituted as the first Voluntary Harmonized Standard (NORMA AIS 1/2018, update of the NORMA DIGA 1/2015), created and registered by the Foundation and validated and certified by the IMQ Certification Company (Istituto Italiano del Marchio di Qualità).  
  
The Foundation has been involved since the project phase of the Hospital's execution, providing technical assistance during the work, so that accessibility was integrated from its origin.  
  
The plaque presentation ceremony took place at the Fraternidad-Muprespa Havana Hospital. The certifying entity was present Esther Goods, president of the Foundation, Ignacio Lucini, patron of the Foundation who presented the certificate plaque to Carlos Aranda, Managing Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa. was also present Alejandro Garcia, General Director of IMQ Ibérica.  
  
Esther Bienes highlighted that it is “It is a great satisfaction that accessibility has contributed to the sustainability of this hospital.” "Accessibility takes on special importance in health centers, where it not only improves the autonomy of patients but also facilitates assistance by health personnel."  
  
For his part, Carlos Aranda pointed out that “At the Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital, sustainability, typing and accessibility have been prioritized.” “At Mutua we are convinced of the importance of accessibility and we have 88 centers certified.”    
  
The Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital has accessible rooms, adapted and signposted entrances, accessible care points with magnetic loop, signage with high relief macro characters and Braille writing, and adapted toilets and changing rooms, among others.
