# Fraternidad-Muprespa HOLDS A DEBATE IN ALMERÍA ON FRAUD IN TEMPORARY DISABILITY BENEFITS

On October 7, La Mutua Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa, has celebrated in Almería within a series of days which is number six. In this case it has dealt with the “ Fraud in temporary disability benefits”, aimed mainly at labor advisors in the province.  
   
The day was attended by Mr. Luis Martínez Vázquez, deputy director of information and subsidies of the INSS in Almería, who has expressed the concern that both the National Social Security Institute, the Labor Inspection and the Mutual Collaborators with Social Security have, regarding fraud to obtain benefits for temporary disability or risk during pregnancy, highlighting the sanctioning action towards companies that will act in collusion with those workers who are the object of these fraudulent actions.  
   
Subsequently, those present had the opportunity to debate what the high absenteeism rates that have been occurring this last year mean for companies, which is why both the INSS Medical Inspections and the Public Health Service Inspections are working on this issue.  
   
 Ms. Matilde Góngora Martínez, provincial director of the Mutua in Almería, moderated the debate and at its end, closed the day by thanking everyone present for their attendance and participation in this day.
