# Fraternidad-Muprespa, IN COLLABORATION WITH THE ICAO, HAS HELD A DAY ON CORPORATE CRIMINAL LIABILITY IN WORK ACCIDENTS

Day review

On April 23, the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa, in collaboration with the Illustrious Bar Association of Oviedo, has organized a conference under the title: “Corporate criminal liability in work accidents ”.

The inauguration of the event was carried out by by Mr. Pedro Fernández Castaño, Provincial Director of Asturias of Fraternidad-Muprespa , who introduced the speakers and thanked the more than one hundred attendees who attended the event for their presence. Likewise, he made a special mention to the Study Center of the Oviedo Bar Association, for its collaboration in the organization and dissemination of this session.

The first speaker then took the floor,Mr. Ignacio Donapetry Camacho, President of the Eighth Criminal Section in the Provincial Court of Asturias, who has made a presentation on the main legal responsibilities of the employer, derived from work accidents.

The second intervention was carried out by Mr. Alejandro Cabrero Díaz, Head of the Specialized Unit in Occupational Safety and Health of the Labor and Social Security Inspection of Asturias, who has commented on the main aspects of the responsibility derived from non-compliance with the regulations for the prevention of occupational risks, as well as infractions and sanctions in the social order.

Finally, the event was closed by Mr. Fernando Castro González, Director of the Study Center of the Illustrious Bar Association of Oviedo , who thanked the large group of participants who attended for their attendance.
