Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security, works to disseminate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sharing its commitment to act to protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda. Each goal has specific goals that must be achieved in the next 15 years. In November 2018, Fraternidad-Muprespa renewed its commitment to join as a signatory entity since 2010 of the United Nations Global Compact. In the 2018 renewal we expressed our commitment to fighting the wage gap, a commitment closely related to SDG 5 on Gender Equality. That same year, the report corresponding to 2017 was presented, which states that The Mutual meets the 21 criteria that determine the advanced level, demonstrating our commitment. Furthermore, in relation to this same objective, other actions have been carried out, such as the III Equality Plan, in force for the period 2018-2020, which goes beyond the legal obligations in matters of equality and good practices of social responsibility, aimed at the Mutua's workers, in order to guarantee the principle of effective equality between men and women. Since 2016 we have had the Equality in Business Distinction, a mark of excellence awarded by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, which recognizes entities that stand out for the implementation of measures or equality plans in the development of equal opportunity policies between women and men in the workplace. In both 2018 and 2019, the corresponding annual monitoring report was presented to the Network of companies with the Equality in the Company distinction (RED DIE). Also in 2016, in the month of June, Fraternidad-Muprespa joined the “More women, better companies” program, promoted by the Institute for Women and Equal Opportunities. It consists of a collaboration agreement between the Mutua and the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, by which the commitment is made to increase the presence of women in management positions within a period of four years until reaching a balance of representation at said levels. Regarding SDG 3, Health and Wellbeing, Fraternidad-Muprespa celebrated the year “We Are Healthy” in 2018 with the aim of improving and strengthening the philosophy of healthy living of the Mutua's workers both in the work and personal environment. That year there were different actions related to health promotion, such as the prevention of skin cancer, cardiovascular diseases, stroke, emotional well-being, sleep hygiene or active aging. In relation to SDG 7, on Affordable and non-polluting Energy, Fraternidad-Muprespa has been collecting the calculation of our carbon footprint, managing to optimize, with respect to the previous year, the issuance ratios of practically all the securities. In addition, we joined the Spanish Climate Action Platform, acquired an electric vehicle, which contributed to improving the air quality of our city and, since 2017, we can highlight our adherence to the #PorElClima initiative. Finally, this 2019 the Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital obtained the LEED Platinum certified, which recognizes excellence in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of buildings from an environmental point of view. On a permanent basis, at Fraternidad-Muprespa we highlight that in the first quarter of this year, as a result of our constant commitment to the SDGs, we have actively participated in their dissemination: the International Women's Day A good practice of the Mutua in matters of gender equality was published. In relation to International Health Day Another good practice related to health promotion was developed, both disseminated by the Global Compact through its website, social networks and newsletter.
