# Fraternidad-Muprespa of Badajoz involved with the Road Safety of its mutual companies

From June 4 to 8, on the occasion of the celebration of the World Road Safety Day Ten workshops have been held at the provincial headquarters of the Mutua in Badajoz, in which approximately 80 workers from provincial and national mutual companies have participated.

The person in charge of teaching these workshops, whose theme was Road Safety, has been Horacio Valcárcel, Senior Prevention Technician at Fraternidad-Muprespa, who through the immersive virtual reality, an awareness tool to change the driver's perception of risk, has invited attendees to live driving experiences in different risk situations (adverse weather conditions, drowsiness, alcohol, drugs, distractions,...). It has been shown that the human factor plays a fundamental role in road safety. The participants in these workshops have been able to carry out virtual reality practices, which have been positively valued.

* CARMONA & MÉNDEZ ASESORES, S.L.

Antonio Fernandez, Provincial Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa, the involvement of companies in the safety and health of their workers demonstrated in the participation in these workshops. Finally, they have been invited to participate in future calls organized by the Mutua.
