# Fraternidad-Muprespa participates in the III National Congress of Occupational Health and Risk Prevention

Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutua Colaboradora con la Seguridad Social, ha participado los días 7 y 8 de noviembre en el III Congreso Nacional de Salud Laboral y Prevención de Riesgos, organizado por la Sociedad Española de Salud y Seguridad en el Trabajo (SESST) y la Sociedad Castellana de Medicina y Seguridad del Trabajo (SCMST), bajo el lema: “El futuro en España, Ejes y Perspectivas”. The objective of the Congress is the exchange of knowledge and the commitment to reflection and debate on occupational health and safety.

Natalia Fernández Laviada, deputy general director of Prevention, Quality and Communication, attended on behalf of the Mutua and participated in the first day in the Panel of Experts on "Women and Work", with the presentation "Safety and Health at work is also a gender issue. Some keys."

Fernández Laviada highlighted the involvement of Fraternidad-Muprespa in the integration of gender diversity in the field of health and safety. He also stressed the importance of the new Royal Decree 860, by which all actions to be carried out by Mutual Insurance Companies in the planning of preventive activities must take into account the gender perspective. Public Administrations promote the effectiveness of the principle of equality to prevent possible situations in which damages derived from work are linked to the sex of the worker. “Something that at Fraternidad-Muprespa we already did not out of obligation, but out of commitment,” he added.
