# Fraternidad-Muprespa PRESENT AT THE “X AWARDS TO COMPANIES FOR EQUALITY AND CONCILIATION”

On December 1, 2011, our Mutual Fund was honored with one of the Municipal Awards for Equality and Conciliation awarded for the tenth consecutive year by the Alcobendas City Council of Madrid, for standing out in the implementation of measures to reconcile the work and personal life of our workers, having signed an Equality Plan in 2010.

These awards aim to highlight the work of those companies that promote the balanced representation of men and women in the workforce, equal pay or actions dedicated to reconciling work and family life.

Present at the event were the Mayor of Alcobendas, Ignacio García de Vinuesa, the General Director of Women of the Community of Madrid, María José Pérez Cejuela, the Councilor for Economic Development, Elisabetta Bracco and the Councilor for Integration and Equal Opportunities, Mar Rodríguez.

Fraternidad-Muprespa received the second prize in the large company category from the latter, with the Deputy Director General of Human Resources, Pedro Oya Aguilar, being in charge of collecting the prize on behalf of the Mutual Fund.

Also attending the event were Natalia Fernández of CC.OO. at Fraternidad-Muprespa, Celia Merino Redondo, among other attendees.

The winner in the large company category (more than 250 workers) was Jazz Telecom, with Fraternidad-Muprespa coming in second place and third place going to Red Eléctrica Española. Proactiva Formación won first prize in the small business section and the Empieza Consultora company in the microbusiness category. Finally, in the category of outstanding person or institution in the defense of conciliation, the winner was Foundation for Diversity, for promoting inclusion and anti-discrimination to improve the quality of life and work.
