# Fraternidad-Muprespa receives the distinctive Asturian Mark of Excellence in Equality

He Government of the Principality of Asturias delivered last Friday, January 26 to Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security, the distinctive “Asturian Brand of Excellence in Equality” in an event held at the School of Entrepreneurs of Asturias, in recognition of the work carried out by promoting plans and actions, the search for effective equality between men and women.

The badge has been collected, by Manuel Porrua, director of the HR and CSR center at Fraternidad-Muprespa, who has highlighted the importance of these events to activate companies in the search for equality and has influenced “the relevance of the education and training of new generations to achieve this objective.”

The event was presented Guillermo Martinez, Minister of the Presidency and Citizen Participation and Manuel Angel Campa, councilor responsible for the Economic and City Promotion area of ​​the Avilés City Council.

Subsequently Almudena Cueto, director of the Asturian Women's Institute, has presented Marisa Soleto, director of the Women's Foundation, who gave the conference “Equality as a strategy for business excellence”.

The event was attended by representatives of public administrations such as Antonio Gonzalez, General Director of Labor of the Principality of Asturias,Felisa Soria, director of the Equality office of the Gijón City Council, as well as numerous gender specialists, and representatives of the Asturian business community, such as the presidents of FEDA and ASEM,Begoña Fernández-Costales y Mª. Antonia Alvarez.
