# II March for prevention in Lugo

Prevention week

Among the events framed in the Prevention Week of Fraternidad-Muprespa, in Lugo the II March for Prevention in Lugo, the day began with a talk by the Mutua physiotherapist Lucía Rodríguez-Lorasque about the benefits of carrying out a physical activity, such as walking and especially in a city like Lugo where the environment that surrounds the city lends itself in a special way for it.

Once the attendees understood the positive aspects of the activity and were full of enthusiasm, a 5.4 kilometer route began along the Miño River promenade to the town of Conturiz, where a bus picked them up to return them to the starting point.

Attendees enjoyed the magnificent surroundings despite the bad weather and arrived at the destination eager to extend the route.

We want to thank in a special way in this year 2017, that at Fraternidad-Muprespa we have declared it as the year of INTEGRATION of people with disabilities,Social work of the Daughters of Charity “San Vicente Paul Residential Assistance and Occupational Center” for the collaboration on the day with the participation in the walk of five of their students, who made our walk happy with the enthusiasm they showed throughout the journey.
