# Immersive virtual reality workshop in Granada

In order to reduce workplace accidents associated with traffic, on October 10, at the facilities of Fraternidad-Muprespa of Granada, a Road Safety workshop with immersive virtual reality has been carried out for workers of Thielmann Portinox, S.A.

In these workshops, simulated driving experiences are achieved in real time safely and without having to leave the classroom. By combining the use of the latest technology in virtual reality and the attractive presentation of technical and awareness concepts adapted to the profile of each attendee, it is possible to change the driver's perception of risk from the human factor, without forgetting other factors that influence road accidents such as the vehicle and the road.

The workshop has been taught by David Revillo Vidales, senior prevention technician of the Prevention and Development of Health Culture department of Fraternidad-Muprespa, obtaining the desired awareness objectives and great acceptance by the attendees.

The reception to the attendees has been carried out José Mª Bravo Lopetegui, provincial director of Granada.

Thielmann Portinox, S.A. It is one of the most important industries in the province, with more than 400 active workers, being a leader in the stainless steel container market, with 275 years of experience.
