# Murcia. How to learn to drive safely thanks to virtual reality

Raising workers' awareness of the need to apply safety when traveling in vehicles as a fundamental part of the prevention of occupational risks, has been the purpose of the conferences held in Murcia, organized in the region by the delegation of Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security.

The provincial director,Alejandro López-Briones, and the Lorca delegation directors,Francisco Garcia y Francisco Maturana, from Cartagena, have been the promoters of these days, together with the prevention technician Jesus Manuel Lopez, which has given them during the month of September, in three different locations, Lorca, Murcia and Cieza.

New technologies, specifically immersive virtual reality glasses, have allowed those attending the conference to live experiences in real time within the training classroom and without risks, for example, driving in adverse weather situations, in a safe and enjoyable way.

All the workshops were widely accepted by the workers of the companies that attended, with the aim of assuming the importance of driving safely.
