# Nanomaterials, the central theme of the technical conference, held by Fraternidad-Muprespa in Almería

On May 10, a day was held in the assembly hall of the Archaeological Museum of Almería, which was organized by the Occupational Risk Prevention Center, attached to the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, Science and Employment, in which Fraternidad-Muprespa has collaborated.

Under the title “ Nanomaterials and Occupational Health and Safety” has brought together more than 70 prevention professionals, highlighting the presence of the health sector as well as those responsible for occupational health.

The inauguration of the day was carried out by the Territorial delegate of Economy, Innovation, Science and Employment of the Junta in Almería,Miguel Ángel Tortosa, who, after welcoming everyone, passed the speaking turn to Matilde Góngora, Provincial Director of the Mutua, who addressed some words of gratitude to Miguel Ángel Tortosa himself and to José Joaquín Martínez, director of the Occupational Risk Prevention Center in Almería, who acted as moderator during the interesting and participatory debate generated at the end of the exhibition.

Following the program, the first part of the presentation has begun, entitled “ Nanomaterials. Basic notions of prevention”, which has been taught by Carmen Alvarado, Technical Coordinator of the Entity. After a break, the second part of the presentation was given.Good practices in Occupational Risk Prevention: know something about graphene'. In both presentations, Carmen Alvarado has managed to capture the interest of those present by bringing the unknown world of nanomaterials closer to the public, in a simple and concise way.

Finally, the day was closed by José Joaquín Martínez.

Fraternidad-Muprespa, has especially thanked the Occupational Risk Prevention Center for its involvement in the organization of this day. With the purpose of maintaining collaboration in future professional meetings of similar characteristics.
