Natalia Fdez. Laviada, deputy general director of Prevention, Quality and Communication of the Mutua, moderated the round table on the 28th “Purpose, reputation and sustainability in healthy companies of the 21st century” in which they participated Joyce Bruce(Sustainability and Climate Change Manager at Ernst&Young),Jesus Alvarez(head of Merco Empresas) and Alvaro Lleó(director of the Master in People Management in Organizations at the University of Navarra). In the debate, Álvarez explained that corporate reputation is based on esteem, trust and prestige, which can be positive or negative, and translates into worth and accounting value for the entity. Lleó, for his part, highlighted the importance of ties between people to generate strong ties, as a way of sharing interests, and Bruce declared that for people's well-being to exist, it is essential that there is physical security. “ The EU is defining new standards to identify data that quantify the social impact of workplace safety in companies"he concluded. The second table moderated by Natalia Fernández Laviada took place on the 29th and its title was “The importance of alliances in Prevention”. They participated in it Ana Fernández Laviada(president of the GEM Spain Network Entrepreneurship Observatory and director of the YUNUS Center),David Lantaron(Professor of Labor Law at the University of Cantabria) and Luis Salgado(responsible for Health and Safety of the Construction Labor Foundation in Cantabria). Ana Fernández This allows them to conclude that “ In recent years, the interest of the entrepreneur has changed, going from prioritizing economic benefit to prioritizing social and environmental benefits, taking profitability into account.”. Luis Salgado assured that the alliances are “ pacts to achieve a common goal"and gave as an example that the Construction Labor Foundation is an alliance to achieve labor improvements in the sector, as well as more training, grouping the synergies of all entities related to the prevention of occupational risks. Among these alliances, the one that links them to Fraternidad-Muprespa stood out. David Lantarón, for his part, reflected on suicide in Spain and its incidence in the age group of working people, from which it is concluded that work stress “ may be behind this type of death, which is multi-causal and has biological, social and occupational implications.”. Additionally, on the 28th, the presentation of the book “ Preventive Culture: how to influence safety behavior. Good practices”, choral work compiled by Ismael Sánchez-Herrera y Javier Cassini, which includes a chapter prepared by Department of Prevention and Development of Health Culture of Fraternidad-Muprespa.
