# Poster exhibition in Burgos on the history of Occupational Risk Prevention in Spain

Prevention week

On April 28, the World Day for Safety and Hygiene at Work. The ILO   aims to continue raising awareness of the magnitude and consequences of work-related accidents, injuries and illnesses, placing worker health and safety at the top of international agendas and supporting action at all levels.

On the occasion of this important date, on April 21, the opening ceremony of an exhibition titled “History of occupational risk prevention in Spain through its posters”  which has been organized jointly by the Confederation of Business Associations of Burgos, Junta of Castilla y León y Mutual Collaborator with Social SecurityFraternidad-Muprespa from Burgos.

At the exhibition   A journey is made through the dissemination and awareness campaigns on preventive matters that have been carried out, prior to the General Ordinance on Safety and Hygiene at Work, after the entry into force of the Occupational Risk Prevention Law, until the present.  
   
Posters have been compiled to disseminate and raise awareness on the prevention of old occupational risks, from the first half of the 20th century, to the most current ones from the National Institute of Safety and Health.

The exhibition also has books, old magazines, photos of the days that were held with the Ordinance in the province, handmade posters and projections of very old training slides with the instruments that were used in the 70s and that were lent by the Occupational Risk Prevention Unit of the Territorial Labor Office of Burgos.

This exhibition will be open to the public until next May 3 at the FAE headquarters in Burgos.
