# THE MUTUA Fraternidad-Muprespa HAS COLLABORATED IN THE ARANZADI SOCIAL FORUM OF MURCIA

Day review

Last October, the ARANZADI Social Forum of Murcia 2014/2015, which will end in March of this year. It has a prestigious teaching team made up of Magistrates from the Social Chamber of the Supreme Court, the President of the Social Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of the Region of Murcia, Magistrates from the Social Courts and Professors of Labor Law and Social Security.

Mr. Guillermo Rodríguez Iniesta, Professor of Labor and Social Security Law and Substitute Magistrate of the Superior Court of Justice of the Region of Murcia, opened the day, welcoming all those present.

The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa, has participated in this forum on February 16, with the representation of the Deputy Director General of Organization and Network,Ms. Natalia Fernández Laviada, who made a presentation on the legislative developments contained in the General Social Security Law, in relation to the legal regime of the new Mutual Insurance Law.

The presentation focused on the reasons for the reform of the regulation of mutual companies, the definition of public or private legal personality, the internal organization and its regime of responsibilities, the suppression of the CIDA and the modifications in the field of management of Temporary Disability benefits due to Common Contingencies and the Cessation of Activity of Self-Employed Workers.

After the intervention, a lively debate was generated in which questions were raised regarding the role that professionals now played by not receiving compensation from the mutual insurance companies.

The event brought together a large number of attendees made up of lawyers, social graduates, graduates in labor sciences and employees of large companies, all of them practicing as professionals in business consultancy.
