# THE MUTUA Fraternidad-Muprespa HAS HELD AN INFORMATION DAY ON OCCUPATIONAL ILLNESS IN PALMA DE MALLORCA

Day review

On October 25, the mutual Fraternidad-Muprespa held an information day in Palma Mallorca with the collaboration of the IBSALUT Medical Inspection and Primary Care, belonging to the Department of Health and Sanitation of the Balearic Islands.

The I.T. Coordinator and Occupational Health of the IBSALUT Medical Inspection,Mr. Joaquín García, made reference to "the controversy generated by the topic chosen for the organization of the day, since it affects the different actors that comprise our scope of action: Mutual insurance companies, Social Security, unions, business associations, IBSALUT. With the conviction of being able to join forces and offer the communication channel such as training for the group of doctors who have direct influence on patients in labor matters.".

Next, the Director of the Department of Care Coordination and I.T. Control,Mr. José Ignacio Mora Blanco, made a presentation on the legal framework of E.P., the recognized list of them, the obligations of mutual companies, the deadlines and procedures established for their correct processing. Evolution statistics were presented according to AMAT and Cepross data, as well as epidemiological data by diagnosis.

The closing of the day was carried out by the Deputy Director of Organization and Network Mrs. Natalia Fdez-Laviada, who after thanking the collaborators in it and highlighting the importance for our mutual company of carrying out these events, contemplated in our Strategic Plan, pointed out the need to maintain communication ties between the public organizations present there, highlighting the Social Security system.
