# THE MUTUAL Fraternidad-Muprespa, HAS CELEBRATED A DAY ON THE NEW MUTUAL LAW IN THE PLAINS OF ARIDANE (LA PALMA)

Day review

On February 10, an information day was held on the new Mutual Insurance Law, in which Benahorita Museum of the Llanos de Aridane, on the island of The Palm. The book “The Reform of the Mutual Insurance Companies” was presented there.” of the authors Mr. Juan López Gandía y Mr. Daniel Toscani.  
   
The day has been inaugurated by,Mr. Rubén Piñero Hernández, Delegate of the Excellent College of Social Graduates of Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the island of La Palma.  
   
 Mr. Julio Santos Palacios, Director of Network Relations, has clarified the changes introduced by the new Law regarding the association and change of Mutua de las Empresas, as well as the association agreements, which have been reduced to one year.

He commented on the new functions granted to the Control and Monitoring Commission and the expansion of the budget to the Special Benefits Commission, by 10% of the Mutual Fund's surplus. Likewise, he has also spoken about the consideration for the concerted administration of the direct one, which cannot be granted based on the Law.  
   
He has also explained the three aspects in which the Law refers to Temporary Disability: the discharge proposals, the monitoring and control actions and possible agreements and collaborations with Social Security.  
   
Subsequently, a question-and-answer session was generated where the doubts of the attendees were clarified.  
   
The day has been closed by Mrs. Raquel Domínguez Hernández, who thanked all attendees for their presence at this event, which has generated great interest.
