# UDIMA and Fraternidad-Muprespa sign an agreement for the creation of an OHS observatory

The Distance University of Madrid(UDIMA) and Fraternidad-Muprespa have signed a collaboration agreement in Madrid for the creation of an observatory for the prevention of occupational risks.

They have signed the agreement,Alvaro Portas de las Heras, manager of UDIMA and Natalia Fernández Laviada, deputy general director of Prevention, Quality and Communication of Fraternidad-Muprespa.

He has also been present at the signing Ricardo Diaz Martin, professor of the Department of Technical Sciences and Engineering at UDIMA, who will be the director of the Observatory.

The agreement aims to create the Occupational Risk Prevention Observatory, in order to carry out scientific and statistical studies, and research and development projects, to achieve improvements in both prevention techniques and the dissemination of preventive culture.

Continuous innovation activities will be carried out on the methodology developed by the School of Technical Sciences and Engineering that will allow the prediction of accidents in Spanish companies and whose application will serve to obtain calculations of sick leave by company profiles.

Dissemination activities will be developed through scientific articles, conferences, scientific conferences or any other type of prevention dissemination activities.

Fraternidad-Muprespa, with the signing of this agreement and within the activities established by Law 35/2014, wants to promote research, innovation, improvement, creativity and the application of the best technologies to progress in management and quality with its interest groups.
