# Workplace nanosecurity. Technical day given by Fraternidad-Muprespa in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

On September 19, the second part of the event was held: “ [Nano world from the PRL](https://www.fraternidad.com/es-ES/noticias/fraternidad-muprespa-y-el-icasel-acercan-el-mundo-de-las-nanotecnologias-la-prl-en)” (2017).

The event was organized by the Canarian Institute of Occupational Safety (ICASEL) and the General Directorate of Labor (DGT), on this occasion, under the title “ Latest News Occupational Nanosafety”, brought together a large audience in the Assembly Hall of the Multipurpose Building of the Government of the Canary Islands.

The day was inaugurated by the Vice-Minister of Employment and Entrepreneurship,Emilio Atienzar and by the Regional Director of ICASEL in the Canary Islands,Elirerto Galván, which has thanked Fraternidad-Muprespa for its active collaboration in the ICASEL Annual Training Plan. The interest that this type of conference promotes has been highlighted, due to the chosen topic as well as the professionalism of its speakers. The Provincial Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa then intervened,Carlos Macho, who has made reference to the latest developments in the Nano world, not only in the technological society but in our daily lives, in our homes and workplaces. Before passing the floor to the next speaker, he highlighted the importance that our Entity gives, based on the current Corporate Strategic Plan, to communication with our interest groups, with talks, business breakfasts and conferences of these characteristics being the instruments to achieve the objective sought by the Mutual Fund.

The central presentation of the day has been developed by Carmen Alvarado, Technical Coordinator, belonging to the General Subdirectorate of Prevention, Quality and Communication of Fraternidad-Muprespa. Your presentation has been brilliant and professional. The program has been fully executed, arousing the interest of all those present.

Before ending the event, the president of the Young Entrepreneurs Association (AJE) of Las Palmas,Enrique Hernandez, has shared the experiences he has had on this matter, both in his personal company and in the work group to which he belongs. With this intervention he has provoked an interesting and participatory debate.
