# Workplace road safety workshop at Fraternidad-Muprespa Avilés

The workers who received this training come from the Ence Business Group, which has launched a plan called “Healthy Company” and is coordinated by the company doctor.Alberto Florez. The first groups of workers belong to the Norte Forestal section, a group of workers who spend much of their days driving and on the road.

With immersive virtual reality equipment, workers simulate driving in adverse circumstances (with ice, snow, an insect inside the vehicle, phone calls, etc.). They were also able to verify, using virtual reality glasses, the effects that having too much alcohol in our body has on our reflexes.

These workshops emphasize the importance of good driving practices and raising workers' awareness so that they do not fall into overconfidence, since more than 90% of traffic accidents have their origin in human error.
