Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutua Colaboradora con la Seguridad Social, como entidad dedicada y comprometida con la prevención de riesgos laborales y la consecución de entornos de trabajo sanos, seguros y saludables, está dando a conocer a sus empresas mutualistas la campaña VISION ZERO a través de charlas en diferentes direcciones provinciales de la Mutua. This campaign aims, in the long term, to achieve the idea that all accidents are preventable.

La Mutua is a member of the International Social Security Association (ISSA), which promotes this campaign, which has also been joined by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA).VISION ZEROis a transformative approach to prevention that seeks to promote preventive culture and improve it in organizations of any sector, size or activity.

”VISION ZERO is based on the conviction that all accidents, illnesses and damages derived from work can be avoided, promoting the values ​​of safety, health and well-being,” he states.Rebecca Garcia, head of the Prevention area and responsible for this campaign at Fraternidad-Muprespa. “In the VISION ZERO approach there is an important characteristic that is flexibility, since it turns VISION ZERO into something beneficial for everyone: governments, health and safety organizations or companies of any sector or size,” he adds.

To develop VISION ZERO strategies, people are the keys that make changes occur. Commitment, communication, preventive culture and learning from mistakes are the four essential factors for success in any modification. These four factors are put into practice through the seven golden rules: assume leadership, identify dangers, define goals, ensure a reliable system, use safe and healthy technologies, improve skills, education and training and invest in people, involving the company's collaborators.

Joining the VISION ZERO campaign does not require any prerequisites since any organization can register and be part of the campaign. Nor is any obligation, examination, control or audit established. The campaign is totally flexible according to the interests and circumstances of the organizations that voluntarily decide what actions to carry out. The deadlines will be set by each organization and the entire process is absolutely free.
