Commitment to CSR

At Fraternidad-Muprespa we are committed through our Ethical Management and Corporate Social Responsibility Policy to sustainable development through ethical and responsible action that values ​​our corporate culture and the ethical principles inherent to our public functions of collaboration with Social Security.

Currently, the second plan is still in force, corresponding to the period 2016-2018, which establishes and reinforces the commitments of the previous one, contributing to the achievement of the Entity's strategy through the incorporation of best practices, as exemplary, in the different areas, aimed at guaranteeing legal certainty, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, transparency and competition.

The creation in October 2016 of our Corporate Social Responsibility Committee has served to promote the responsible practices of the Entity with the necessary coordination between the different units, complying with the legal requirements of the Mutual's legal regime and having as its main objectives: to continue improving the competitiveness and progress of our interest groups; and provide social and economic profitability to the Public Social Security System and to Society as a whole.

    United Nations Global Compact

    At Fraternidad-Muprespa, expanding the scope of CSR, we have joined the United Nations Global Compact in August 2010, with annual renewal. Adherence to the Global Compact has been a voluntary initiative of ethical commitment, intended to embrace as an integral part of our strategy and operations, principles of conduct and action in the field of Human and Labor Rights, Environmental Rights (establish policies for saving water, energy, paper, waste control, etc.) and fight against corruption (promotion of financial transparency, rejection of bribery, embezzlement, favoritism, etc.)

    In essence, adherence to the pact constitutes our response and commitment to the needs of a changing world, based on 10 basic principles:

    Human rights

    1. We respect the protection of fundamental human rights.

    2. We ensure non-complicity in the violation of Human Rights.

    Labor standards

    3. We support freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.

    4. We affirm the elimination of all forms of forced or coerced labor.

    5.  We support the eradication of child labor.

    6. We defend the abolition of discrimination practices in employment and occupation.

    Environment

    7. We maintain a preventive approach that favors the environment.

    8. We encourage initiatives that promote greater environmental responsibility.

    9. We encourage the development and dissemination of environmentally friendly technologies. 10. We work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
