Prevention, Absenteeism and the role of Mutual Insurance, an interesting day at Fraternidad-Muprespa in Avilés

Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security and the CIFP Integrated Vocational Training Center, both from Avilés, held on April 20, an interesting information day included within the activities carried out to celebrate our Prevention Week.  

Covadonga Ferreras, responsible for the Occupational Risk Prevention Coordination Unit of the CIFP, a center that offers one hundred and twenty-seven training cycles (which places it as the second largest in Spain), presented the event, at which time he highlighted the objectives of his department, such as; promote safe behavior, foster a culture of prevention of occupational risks and disseminate information about organizations of interest in preventive matters, such as the Mutual Funds for Work Accidents and Occupational Diseases.

It has provided data on workplace accidents, highlighting that in Asturias alone, in 2017 there were ten thousand and forty-four accidents during the work day, among them ten deaths.
