New EU-OSHA strategy 2025-2034: protecting workers and generating impact

The European Safety and Health Agency (EU-OSHA) has presented a new strategy for 2025-2034 to protect workers and generate impact that addresses the changing challenges in occupational safety and health (OSHA) and that provides the agency with tools to respond to important social changes, such as the digital and green transitions and the aging of the workforce.

The strategy focuses on three lines of action: providing the necessary knowledge for policy development, developing tools to prevent risks and raising awareness to promote a culture of prevention, while maintaining environmental and social sustainability.

It will also encourage EU-OSHA to generate greater added value through closer collaboration with national and EU partners and precisely this spirit of collaboration is at the core of the strategy aimed at obtaining the maximum impact of the work carried out by the agency .
