Recently the INSST State Observatory of Working Conditions has carried out an update of the indicators of work accidents and other health damages.

These indicators, which are updated periodically, report on the consequences and injuries derived from working conditions and allow an overview of the accident rate suffered by workers from the exploitation of the microdata file of the DELTA notification system, provided by the General Subdirectorate of Socio-Labor Statistics of MITES. The information is displayed in the form of tables, graphs and text to facilitate its interpretation.

Within the set of indicators of work accidents and other health damages there are different formats such as those that analyze specific types of work accidents, those that occur due to overexertion or traffic accidents at work. Also those that study the distribution of accidents during the work day according to different variables in the work accident report such as sex, age, economic sector or the company's division of activity.

The following indicators have recently been updated:

  • Potential years of life lost due to death in a work accident.
  • Work accidents during the work day due to heart attacks, strokes and other non-traumatic pathologies.
  • Work accidents due to psychological trauma.
  • Migrant working population.
  • Young people and work.
  • Seniors and work.

From Fraternidad-Muprespa  we encourage you to visit the specialized portal Previene with numerous audiovisual contents that aim to promote prevention and occupational health to help reduce the accident rate of our mutual members.
