Data from the Fourth European Survey of Working Conditions
The European survey of companies on new and emerging risks(ESENER), conducted by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, analyzes how European workplaces manage occupational health and safety risks in practice.
With the participation of thousands of companies and organizations across Europe, the survey aims to cover psychosocial risks, digitalisation, as well as drivers and barriers to health and safety management, and provide information on how workers' involvement in OSH-related matters could improve working conditions in the EU.
The data of the fourth European survey of companies on new and emerging risks(ESENER 2024) of the EU-OSHA are now available through the data visualization tool.
The interactive tool allows users to filter results by topic and preferred chart type, and analyze statistics by sector, company size or country in an attractive way.
According to the first results of the latest ESENER survey, psychosocial risks are common in European workplaces. Service sectors are particularly affected, with 56% of companies and organizations reporting having to deal with difficult clients, patients or students, while 43% face deadline pressure.
Comparisons with 2019 and 2014 data will be available soon.
