Fraternidad-Muprespa Murcia and the INSS sign an agreement for telematic access to medical records

Fraternidad-Muprespa is the first mutual insurance company in the Region of Murcia that has formalized this important agreement, which aims to achieve efficiency in the management of benefits between both entities. This facilitates the access of the Medical Inspectors of the INSS of the Region to the medical records of workers who are on medical leave and improves the management, control and monitoring of benefits derived from work incapacity, both temporary and permanent, due to common or professional contingency.

The signing of the agreement takes place on the basis of article 10.1 of RD 625/2014, of July 18, which provides that cooperation and coordination in the management of temporary disability between the INSS, ISM, mutual insurance companies and Public Health Services of the CCAA and the National Institute of health management, will be institutionally implemented through agreements, which may be developed through specific agreements.

In July 2017 Fraternidad-Muprespa already signed a similar agreement, in this case with the INSS of Malaga. This initiative obtained important recognition last February since the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function awarded the Award for Innovation in Management, in its twelfth edition, to the performance, effectiveness and efficiency evaluation system in the General Treasury of Social Security. The second prize for these awards recognized the importance of telematic access to the electronic medical records of the Social Security Collaborating Mutual Funds by the INSS medical inspectors, in this case, from the Andalusian province.
