Identifying and addressing the risks linked to the effects of climate change is one of the most pressing challenges that occupational risk prevention must address since these effects can have a significant impact on workers, especially those who carry out their work outdoors, as occurs in the logistics and transportation, construction, agriculture, tourism or leisure sectors. Proof of this is the recent approval of the ___Royal Decree-Law 4/2023, of May 11, which provides for the prohibition of carrying out certain works when they coincide with episodes of extreme heat.

About the effects on workers' health associated with climate change and how it will be increasingly necessary to introduce preventive measures to avoid it, we will talk with Alfredo Iglesias, International Consultant, Doctor of Mining Engineer and Corresponding Academic Doctor of the Royal Academy of Doctors of Spain (RADE).

It will be next May 26 in a Fratertalk that will be titled Climate change and PRL, towards a sustainable and healthy commitment.

Save the date: May 26 at 10 a.m.

The event will be held from the ZOOM application, and you can connect from your computer, tablet or mobile phone. (Registration closes 30 minutes before the start of the event).
