Two new guides with the Vision Zero approach
We present two new recently published guides related to the Vision Zero Philosophy that we have already incorporated into our section.Vision Zero Culture on the Previene website.
The first of them has been prepared by the International Social Security Agency (ISSA) and is titled:"Vision Zero guide for preventing and overcoming violence in health services."
In the document, the authors reflect on the violence and harassment that can be exercised against employees in the workplace and how it can negatively impact the health, well-being, motivation and performance of employees. Therefore, the experiences lived during work should never be considered a private matter. On the contrary, anyone who runs a company must actively ensure that employees feel comfortable and respected in their workplace.
The second of the guides has been published by Foment de Treball, A la Feina Cap Risc, Generalitat de Catalunya and Prevencontrol and is titled:"Guide to improve risk perception in excellent organizations."
The authors talk about understanding the nature of risk. There is always a percentage of possible risk or damage depending on the different circumstances and its understanding is not easy for us because it requires some prior preparation, training, guided experience or specific training. Hence, they have created this guide to help understand this very unintuitive phenomenon with useful, viable and proven tools in real success cases, which we can use to improve implementation in companies to improve risk perception.
