The call for the VIII edition of the Escolástico Zaldívar 2804 Awards for 2020 is open
Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security announces the VIII edition of the Escolástico Zaldívar 2804 Awards for 2020, in order to reward and promote good preventive practices in the work environment.
With these awards we intend to recognize our associated companies highly committed to Occupational Risk Prevention that demonstrate that they have carried out or are carrying out preventive actions that represent an improvement in the safety, health and well-being of their workers, beyond mere compliance with prevention regulations.
After 7 editions and more than 450 projects presented, the Escolástico Zaldívar Awards are a true reflection that our associated companies are decisively committed to safety and health at work.
New bases. A more innovative, more integrative, more creative vision
This edition brings with it an important novelty since we have created new categories, updating the bases of the award to give a more innovative vision, thus adapting to the new preventive challenges that the evolution of the business world and prevention entails.
Deadline for submission of candidatures: January 1 to February 27, 2020
The new categories are:
ORDINARY CATEGORIES:
- Prize Plus Prevention: recognition of preventive improvement actions aimed at reducing occupational accidents and occupational diseases in one of the five major areas that make up the occupational risk prevention: safety at work, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, applied psychosociology either health surveillance.
- Prize Talking about Prevention: recognition of the work of communication, dissemination and promotion of prevention both internally within the company as towards the outside.
- Prize We feel the Prevention: recognition of good inclusive preventive practices related to the integration of the gender perspective, active aging or workers with disabilities, as well as preventive practices that address the preventive challenges of the future and the use of new technologies applied to improving working conditions.
- Prize Safe mobility: recognition of actions and good practices in road safety, aimed at reducing workplace traffic accidents.
- Prize Walking towards well-being: recognition of programs and projects to promote healthy habits among workers.
EXTRAORDINARY CATEGORIES:
- Prize Extraordinary jury: recognition of organizations or entities that stand out in a special way for their commitment, dissemination and promotion of occupational risk prevention.
- Recognition of the Professional career: person notable for his extensive experience and career in the world of occupational risk prevention.
The minimum participation requirements to qualify for the awards are: that the candidate companies be associated with Fraternidad-Muprespa, comply with what is established in the bases and submit the application and required documentation in a timely manner.
