Aragón hosts immersive virtual reality sessions to increase road safety

Ten road safety workshops were held during the second half of September and the first week of October in the provincial offices of To carry out the sessions, immersive virtual reality equipment has been used, which allows attendees to simulate, in a safe and entertaining way, driving in adverse situations, for example, due to weather conditions.

The person in charge of teaching these workshops has been the senior technician in Occupational Risk Prevention.  José Luis Fernández Medina, who worked with attendees to raise awareness and sensitization about the importance of road safety.

The workshops were very well received by the attending workers. Seven of them took place in Zaragoza and were aimed at employees of the companies Framatome Spain, Mainsa, Mopsa, Promindsa, Spanish Red Cross and Correos. For the employees of the latter, three workshops were also given at the facilities of the Mutua de Huesca and Teruel.
