Award for the promotion of occupational road safety awarded by the Government of Extremadura
Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security, has been awarded one of thes Awards for the Promotion of Safety and Health at Work, awarded by the Board of Extremadura, in the category of promotion of occupational road safety.
This recognition rewards companies, public administrations, entities and people who stand out for their activities to promote occupational road safety, as a way to reduce occupational accidents caused by traffic, both during work hours and on the go.
The award-winning Fraternidad-Muprespa project encompasses all research, development and innovation actions aimed at reducing professional contingencies and promoting occupational road safety. Specifically, all the actions carried out in 2022 during the V Workplace Road Safety Week stand out, where great experts, organizations, entities and associations of recognized prestige participated, such as the General Directorate of Traffic, the regional Prevention institutes, the CNAE Foundation and the main associations of victims of traffic accidents such as AESLEME, STOP Accidentes or ASPAYM among others.
In that same line continues during 2023 at the VI Road Safety Week in which Carlos Sainz, the recent champion of the Dakar Rally, INFOVA AUTOMOCIÓN, Axa España, participated, AESLEME and the DGT.
The use of immersive virtual reality has also been highlighted as a tool to ensure that workers acquire a change in road behavior that lasts in the future. time.

These awards are intended to promote research on Occupational Risk Prevention and to publicly recognize the work carried out by companies, public administrations, entities and individuals in promoting the improvement of working conditions and the prevention of occupational risks in Extremadura.
