“Call it X” and put it in box 106 of your return
Fraternidad-Muprespa was present this Wednesday at the presentation of the information campaign of the “Solidarity The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security thus gives visibility to this campaign, and does so by virtue of the collaboration agreement signed in 2019 with the Social Action NGO Platform, a state-level organization, which brings together 33 non-governmental entities, federations and state networks, which work in favor of vulnerable groups and promotes the fight against social exclusion.

A little more than half of those who file their income tax return, specifically 53%, mark box 106. If they all did so, the collection obtained would exceed 700 million euros. From the Platform promoting this measure, they remember every year that marking the X in box 106 costs nothing, it does not mean paying more or receiving less. Also, it can be done simultaneously with checking the box intended to help the Church, since in that case, the aid is not distributed, but rather 0.7% is allocated for each purpose.
The campaign presentation event, at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, was presented by the journalist Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, and was attended by the general director of Family Diversity and Social Services of the Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030, Patricia Bezunartea, the president of the Social Action NGO Platform, Yolanda Besteiro, and the president of the Third Sector Platform, Luciano Poyato. Also the testimonies of two women who benefited from this initiative were heard, who described how this action has improved their lives.
