Cantabria: road safety workshop with virtual reality within Prevention Week

The Association of Higher Prevention Technicians of Cantabria, together with the Cantabrian Institute of Safety and Health at Work, held a work day on road safety at its headquarters last Wednesday in which Fraternidad-Muprespa also participated. 

Ana González, director of the Institute, opened the day, whose presentation was given by Enrique Rodríguez, president of the Association. 

Fraternidad-Muprespa organized an occupational road safety workshop with immersive virtual reality equipment, which allows users to simulate driving in adverse conditions. Ricardo Alonso, Mutua's occupational risk prevention consultant, worked with the attendees on an aspect as important as concentration, so necessary when getting behind the wheel. 

Likewise, during the presentations, Luis Vidal took the floor, member of the association and teacher of safe and sustainable mobility, who gave an introduction to the safe and sustainable mobility plans in the company; and Federico Sancibrián, road safety auditor, who presented some improvements in vehicle safety through automatic systems.
