Clinical examination of the hand in relation to IT. Interesting day organized in the Balearic Islands
The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa, organized last Friday, June 2, in collaboration with the Medical Inspection and the IBACMA(Institut Balear Cirurgia de la Mà), a training day for primary care doctors and other doctors of the Public Health Service, under the title “Clinical examination of the hand in relation to Temporary Disability.”
The event was held at the Emili Darder Health Center and was very well received by those attending.
The presentation of the day was carried out by the Dr. Joaquín García, medical inspector of Ibsalut and head of the Medical Inspection department.
Next Xavier Terrades y Guillem Salva, doctors specializing in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at IBACMA, have brilliantly explained both the anatomy of the hand and its different pathologies, describing in each of them the pathophysiology, the clinic and the examination, the complementary tests, the conservative treatment and the surgical treatment.
At the end of the presentations, a lively debate was generated in which some of those present participated.
The day also included the presence of doctor Eugenio Díaz Expósito, Deputy Territorial Assistance Coordinator of the Northeast Territorial Directorate of Fraternidad-Muprespa as well as of María Antonia Sbert Haro, director in the Balearic Islands.
