Conference at the HFMH on efficiency in hospital services
The which addressed, among other issues, cleaning in hospitals, sustainability management or the health and safety of healthcare personnel, and aimed at professionals in the healthcare sector, from maintenance service managers to those responsible for occupational risk prevention and hospital health.
Paloma Melendo, director of the magazine Facility Management & Services, and Antonio Borredá, director of the magazine ___Cleanings and ___HTMLTA G43___Training of Labor Safety___, inaugurated the day by highlighting the importance of these fundamental sectoral meetings to promote synergies.
Borredá moderated the round table 'What are the new hospital demands and challenges of greatest impact?', in which Irene participated Braojos, hospitalization supervisor of the Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital, together with Santiago García, president of OSICH; Emilio Arce, general director of Operational Services at Quirónsalud Hospital; and Gloria Hernández, head of the Hospitality section of the Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital.The debate focused on the complex organization of hospitals and how to incorporate new social demands for sustainability, wasteo safety work.
Braojos highlighted that “healthcare is the industry that pollutes the most, since produces a 4.4% of net emissions globally, which makes us see the importance of being sustainable and energy efficient.”
In the presentation 'Synergies and key points to understand the HFMH success story', Óscar López, director of the Works department at Fraternidad-Muprespa, detailed the technological innovations implemented in the center to obtain LEED Healthcare platinum recognition and highlighted:
