Maria Isern, responsible for Development and Projects at CAEB, presented the day and gave way to Marian Sbert, Provincial Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in the Balearic Islands, and Carmen Alvarado, coordinator of the General Subdirectorate of Prevention, Quality and Communication of the Mutua and speaker at this event.

Carmen Alvarado's intervention allowed us to learn more about the new work teams that have burst into the current work landscape and that must be addressed from the prevention of occupational risks, since they are increasingly present in more companies and are part of the so-called emerging risks.

The interest aroused by these unmanned aircraft, drones, is due to their special characteristics: ease of handling, reduced operational risks and reduced cost. These factors have led to their use in various civil applications and in almost all sectors of economic activity.

These devices must be correctly identified and evaluated by occupational risk prevention technicians, regardless of the function they will perform for the company, which is why Fraternidad-Muprespa disseminates new preventive guidelines and disseminates basic aspects and concepts that any ORP technician should know.

Those attending the conference came from different work fields: both public entities and drone pilots and PRL technicians.
