Conference in the Balearic Islands on the guide to action against adverse meteorological phenomena

Óscar Jesús Paz , director of the Balearic Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Ibassal, was the speaker of the day, and during his presentation, he explained the informative and advisory actions for companies that the technicians of his department are carrying out. It also described the most relevant aspects to be implemented and controlled by companies with respect to the risk derived from work exposed to high temperatures.

Next, Rafael Reyes , Prevention consultant at existing types, levels, and the actions that companies must carry out for a correct evaluation, planning of preventive measures, use of personal protective equipment and training, among other aspects, both in the case of tasks specific to the jobs that may be affected by these phenomena and in cases of emergency situations that may be experienced in the workplace or the serious and imminent risks that may be generated.
 

After the presentations, a session of questions was opened by those attending the conference, which were answered by the speakers.
