Conference of the College of Social Graduates of Alicante on Permanent Disability
Fraternidad-Muprespa participated on Wednesday, November 23, in the webinar on Permanent Disability organized by the College of Social Graduates of Alicante, with the virtual assistance of almost fifty labor advisors from across the province. Its president Maria Antonia Oliva Verdú greeted the attendees and thanked the Mutual for its participation in this type of training actions.
Ana Lorenzo Cardenes, coordinator of the Economic Benefits department, began her presentation by analyzing the previous situation of Temporary Disability, its terms and situations, to subsequently focus on the regulations governing the situation of Permanent Disability (PI), its definition, characteristics and degrees. He then analyzed the IP evaluation procedure, and the circumstances of its beneficiary, the competence to declare this situation, the deadline for doing so and its effects. It focused on fundamental elements of the administrative file: the Internal Benefits Commission, the Clinical History, etc... and on the most important procedures such as the hearing of the interested party or the prior claim against the resolution of the procedure. Finally, Ana Lorenzo analyzed other singularities such as the notification of the resolution, the review or the joint assessment of sequelae, and concluded her intervention with the analysis of non-disabling permanent injuries.
The day ended after the usual question time moderated by Eloy Ávila Lacalle, provincial director of the Mutua in Alicante, who thanked the president of the College for organizing the day and all the participants for attending the same.
