This Tuesday, the Most Excellent College of Social Graduates of Madrid held the conference “Management of the Cessation of Activity Benefit for Self-Employed Workers”, in which this crucial issue for the group was discussed and in which they acted as speakers. Ana Lorenzo, coordinator of the Economic Benefits Department of Fraternidad-Muprespa, and Rafael Matheu, technician from the same department.
At the conference, in online format, the current regulations that regulate the cessation of activity of self-employed workers were addressed, as well as the requirements that self-employed workers must meet to access the available aid, processing, incompatibilities, possible suspension and termination of the benefit.
The speakers, experts in labor and tax matters, explained the reasons that may lead a self-employed worker to cease their activity and the different options available to them. They also addressed the difference between objective estimation and direct estimation, commercial companies and family collaborators, topics that are fundamental to understanding how to properly manage the financial situation in the event of termination.
The event, which had more than 300 attendees, also promoted a space for dialogue, where participants could ask their questions, thus enriching the debate and collective learning.
