Last Friday “Emotional fitness: Improve our well-being by training our emotions”

The objective of the day was to provide tools to properly manage emotions in a healthy way to achieve an optimal level of well-being. The Occupational Risk Prevention Center of Malaga was the venue for this meeting, which inaugurated Incarnation of the Eagle, director of the Occupational Risk Prevention Center of Malaga, who thanked those present for their attendance and Fraternidad-Muprespa for its presence once again at the European Week of Safety and Health at Work. Del Águila explained the importance of promoting prevention and a safety culture in companies and society in general.

Later it gave way to Sonia Medrano, Southern territorial director of Fraternidad-Muprespa, who spoke with the presentation "Healthy company. Fashion or real need?" highlighting the necessary pillars to achieve an optimal level of well-being: adequate nutrition, rest and planning our day to reduce stress and be more productive.

From the Department of Prevention and Development of Health Culture of Fraternidad-Muprespa, they intervened Carlos Maya and José Luis Haro, senior occupational risk prevention technicians. Maya offered two presentations: "Walking towards well-being. The healthy itinerary of Fraternidad-Muprespa", where she explained the work carried out by the Mutua to achieve well-being both within the company and among the workers. In the second presentation, which was titled "Emotional Fitness. The energy and enthusiasm we need" he highlighted the necessary steps to train five fundamental aspects: positive attitude, balance, healthy communication, self-care and self-knowledge.

For his part, José Luis Haro showed the attendees “The Health Corner”, a place of advice for our physical and emotional well-being. In it, associated companies can find resources and tools to encourage and promote healthy habits among workers and implement the healthy company model.

Jose Manuel Crespo, provincial director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Malaga, summarized each of the presentations presented at the day and thanked those present for attending this day.

To finish Juan Carlos Manzano, responsible for Training at the Occupational Risk Prevention Center, closed the day by summarizing all the events carried out in the European Week of Safety and Health at Work, thanking Fraternidad-Muprespa for its contribution with such current topics. He also expressed his desire for both entities to continue collaborating as closely as they have until now.
