Dr. Ordoñez and Dr. Hevia from the HFMH speak at the XXI Neuroraquis Congress

The Hospital which was held on March 10 and 11 with the theme Spinal column surgery in the century XXI”

On this occasion, the city of León has been in charge of receiving prestigious national and international experts in traumatological spine surgery. Neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, traumatologists, neurophysiologists and rehabilitators shared their presentations, communications and posters on spinal column pathology.

The Dr. Fernando Ordoñez, ___ head of the Spine Unit, has presented as first author a communication entitled "Magnetic resonance study of provisionally immobilized discs in percutaneous instrumentation of vertebral fractures without neurological injury", a study carried out together with the Dr. Eduardo Hevia Sierra and Dr. Bárbara Batres Cid, members of the Spine Unit, and with the residents Dr. Tomás Losa Cuadrado, Dr. Raúl Zapata Rodrigo, Dr. Ismael Rahmuni del Pozo and Dr. Marta Pérez Rodríguez.

El Dr. Eduardo Hevia has participated as moderator of a round table on "Pathology of the Thoracic Vertebral Column", with presentations on thoracolumbar fractures, thoracic disc herniations and their complications, in addition to participating in other communications as co-author.

The congress has been an important update in technological and scientific advances in spinal surgery.
